If the material quality is too poor, the material is not pure enough and contains other impurities, it will be difficult to dry no matter how you dry it. Generally, you should pay attention to ABS with a price below 6,000.
The dryer is faulty or the temperature is improperly adjusted, resulting in the raw materials not being dried. From experience, many drying boxes do not dissipate heat evenly, so some materials are not dried no matter how long they are dried. The temperature of the heat cycle dryer should be appropriate. If the temperature is too low, the moisture is not easy to dry; if the temperature is too high, it is easy to form agglomerates.
If there is a fault in the components inside the barrel of the injection molding machine, no matter how you bake it or what material you choose, material spots will often appear.
Mold problems lead to material flowers, common ones include venting problems, improper gate design, etc., or the mold is damaged after being used for too long.
The temperature and time of injection molding should be appropriate. If the temperature is too high or the time in the barrel is too long, the ABS will decompose and produce gas, resulting in the appearance of material flowers.
In addition, the back pressure and injection speed during injection molding should also be appropriate. When the back pressure is too low or insufficient, the air in the molten material cannot be completely squeezed out, which will also cause material flowers. The back pressure should be appropriately increased.
