Injection molded parts are widely used in our lives. In some special industries, the precision requirements for injection molded parts are relatively high, so injection molding needs to be carried out more carefully. So what aspects should be used to improve the precision of injection molded parts?
Closing mold pressure: In principle, it should be greater than the total pressure of the plastic injected into the mold, with no burrs as the benchmark.
Pressure and speed have a certain relationship and act on the mold. The purpose is to make the raw materials enter the mold evenly, thoroughly and fill every corner appropriately. If it is too low, it will cause short shot and shrinkage. If it is too high, it will cause hair, over-filling, sticking, burning, easy damage to the mold and high internal stress.
Speed: The speed determines the condition of the raw materials in the mold runner and the finished product. If it is too fast, there will be burrs, overfilling, and burning. If it is too slow, there will be short shots, shrinkage, poor bonding, and easy breakage.
Temperature: Different raw materials have different temperatures. If the temperature is too low, the color of the solution glue will be uneven and the internal stress of the finished product will increase. If the temperature is too low and the pressure is too high, the screw may break. If the temperature is too high, the product will have burrs. The temperature difference caused by cooling will cause shrinkage. The raw materials will decompose, turn yellow, change color, and break easily. The cooling time will be longer, the gas will not be easy to discharge, and there will be gas.
